Scope

This standard specifies the general method for the determination of silicates by silicon molybdenum blue colorimetry. This standard applies to the determination of trace amounts of silicate or fluorosilicate in chemical reagents. The detection range of spectrophotometry or visual colorimetry is 0.2μg/mL～3μg/mL (calculated as SiO₃).
