Scope

This standard specifies a method for the particle size distribution of erroneous vinyl chloride homo- and copolymer resins by measuring the mass of the resin retained on selected sieves with different mesh sizes. Results can be expressed as the sieve on a single sieve or as the average particle size of the entire sample. This method does not recommend the use of sieves with a sieve size smaller than 0.038mm.
