Scope
1.1 This guiding technical document specifies the test methods for the operational performance of the stationary proton exchange membrane fuel cell power generation system (hereinafter referred to as the power generation system) and its impact on the environment. 1.2 The test content specified in this guiding technical document includes: output power under specified operating conditions; power generation efficiency and heat utilization efficiency under specified operating conditions; environmental characteristics under specified operating conditions: such as gas emissions, noise, etc.; This guiding technical document does not involve regulations on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and issues related to this aspect are to be considered in the future. 1.3 This guiding technical document is applicable to various types of stationary proton exchange membrane fuel cell power generation systems that operate independently. 1.4 Due to the different types of fuels used in power generation systems (such as pure hydrogen, hydrogen-rich gas, methanol solution, etc.), different purposes of use, and different forms of input and output fluid substances and energy, they may have different subsystems . However, in order to evaluate a power generation system, a general system and its boundaries need to be defined (see Figure 1). Figure 1 Block Diagram of Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell Power Generation System 1.5 To determine the test boundary of the power generation system, the following conditions should be considered: All energy recovery systems should be included within the system boundary; Calorific value of pure hydrogen, methanol solution, etc.). 1.6 This guiding technical document does not consider the input or output mechanical work or mechanical energy. Mechanical subsystems required for fuel cell operation (eg, ventilators, microturbines, air compressors) should be included within the test boundary. Direct measurements of these mechanical subsystems within the test boundary are not required, however, their effects on the operation of the generating system should be included. If the mechanical work and energy are outside the test boundaries, additional tests and calculations must be performed.
