Scope: This part of GB/T 21782 specifies the evaluation of storage stability of thermosetting powders. It specifies test procedures for the evaluation of the retention of physical state and chemical activity of thermosetting powder coatings and the ability to form a satisfactory final coating. The interrelationships between the various performance changes are not predictable. Also, under different storage conditions, there is no correlation between the test results obtained. The test results obtained by the procedures specified in this standard indicate the ability of powder coatings to withstand the storage period before application.
