- Scope
- This part of GB/T 20624 specifies the test method for impacting the coating and the substrate with a spherical punch with a diameter of 12.7mm or 15.9mm, causing rapid deformation and evaluating the deformation results. When numerical results are used, the reproducibility of this test method is poor, so the test is limited to the same laboratory. For example, using grade evaluation instead of numerical results can improve the consistency between laboratories.
