- This standard specifies the method for the determination of putrescine, cadaverine, spermidine, spermine and histamine in water by benzoyl chloride derivatization-high performance liquid chromatography-ultraviolet detection. This standard applies to the determination of 2.0 mg/L to 40.0 mg/L putrescine, cadaverine, spermidine, spermine and histamine in water.
