Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for internal corrosion control design of gathering and transportation pipeline systems for gas fields with high hydrogen sulfide content, corrosion control of pipeline systems in operation, and evaluation of corrosion control effects. This standard applies to natural gas collection pipelines, gas field water pipelines and containers with high hydrogen sulfide content in natural gas that contain hydrogen sulfide greater than or equal to 5% (volume fraction).
