Scope

This part of JB/T 6012 specifies the magnetic particle testing and evaluation methods for internal combustion engine intake and exhaust valves (hereinafter referred to as valves). This section is applicable to the inspection of surface and near-surface defects of ferromagnetic material valves of reciprocating piston internal combustion engines with a cylinder diameter less than or equal to 200mm.
