Scope

This part of JB/T 7688 specifies the general technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for metallurgical cranes (hereinafter referred to as cranes). This section is mainly applicable to special cranes for metal smelting, rolling and thermal processing enterprises, including casting cranes, bin cranes, slab handling cranes, rake cranes, forging cranes and quenching cranes. Other similar cranes can also be used as a reference.
