Scope

This standard specifies the model marking, structure type and size specifications of tire valves (hereinafter referred to as valves). This standard is applicable to tire valves for cars, trucks, industrial vehicles, engineering machinery, tractors, agriculture, forestry machinery and motorcycles, and also for tire valves for bicycle tires. This standard does not apply to aviation tire valves.
