Scope

This standard specifies the model marking, structural type and size specifications of tire valves (hereinafter referred to as "valve"). This standard applies to tire valves for cars, trucks, industrial vehicles, engineering machinery, tractors, agricultural and forestry machinery, motorcycles, electric vehicles, and rickshaws. This standard does not apply to valves for aviation tires.
