Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, sampling, identification items and identification rules for the identification of the packaging of dangerous goods transported by water. This standard applies to the identification of the use of packaging for dangerous goods transported by water other than Item 6.2 of Category 2, Category 7 and Category 6 in Chapter 4 of GB 19270.1-2003. This standard does not apply to pressure receptacles, packages with a net weight greater than 400kg, and packages with a volume exceeding 450L.
