It is the user's responsibility to take appropriate safety and health measures and ensure compliance with the conditions stipulated in the relevant national laws and regulations. This standard specifies the test method for determining the dynamic properties of cellular rubber materials and rigid and flexible foamed plastics by measuring the maximum deceleration when an object falls on a test piece. This test is primarily for quality assurance use. Moreover, this test is also used to obtain design data, so the notes in Appendix A can be helpful for design data. This standard applies only to packaging materials.
