- Scope
- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, storage, and safety of industrial dichloromethane. This standard applies to the production, inspection and sale of dichloromethane produced by the methanol hydrochlorination process. This product is mainly used in solvents, extractants, cleaning agents, foaming agents, release agents, etc., and as raw materials for the production of difluoromethane (HFC-32) and the pharmaceutical industry. Molecular formula: CH2Cl2. Relative molecular mass: 84.932 (according to the international relative atomic mass in 2005).
