- Scope
- This standard specifies the use of gas chromatography to determine the purity of petroleum xylene and its hydrocarbon impurity content. This standard is applicable to the determination of m-xylene with a purity of not less than 99.0% (mass fraction), and non-aromatic hydrocarbons, benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, p-xylene, o-xylene, Hydrocarbon impurities such as n-propylbenzene and cumene. This standard is not intended to address all safety issues related to its use. Therefore, users are responsible for taking appropriate safety and health measures and ensuring compliance with relevant national regulations.
