- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of peracetic acid solution. This standard applies to peracetic acid solution produced by the reaction of hydrogen peroxide and acetic acid. Type I and Type II products in this standard are mainly used as raw materials for disinfectants, Type II products are also used as bleaching agents and organic synthesis, and Type III products are mainly used for organic synthesis. Molecular formula of peracetic acid: C. H. O.
