This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, analysis methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of citric acid for food processing. This standard is applicable to citric acid products produced by fermentation of starchy or sugary raw materials, which are used as sour agents, antioxidant synergists and flavoring agents in food processing.
