Scope: This standard specifies the requirements for the design and structure, performance, testing and inspection, marking, locking and sealing, and supply of spring direct-loaded safety valves (hereinafter referred to as: safety valves) for gas compressors. This standard applies to safety valves with a set pressure not greater than 42.0MPa and a nominal size not greater than DN40.
