Scope
This standard introduces a method for measuring the dielectric loss factor tanδ of insulating liquids. This method obtains tanδ after synchronous measurement of conductance G and capacitance C. This standard is applicable to unused insulating liquids and operating transformers or other Insulating liquid used in electrical equipment. Although this standard applies to all liquids mentioned in GB/T 5654-2007, even liquids with high insulating properties, this standard cannot replace GB/T 5654-2007. This method can accurately measure the dielectric loss factor as small as 10 under power frequency, and its measurement range is between 10 and 1, and it can reach 200 under special conditions
