- This procedure is applicable to the type evaluation, initial verification, subsequent verification and in-use inspection of electromagnetic flowmeters (hereinafter referred to as flowmeters) installed in closed pipelines. It is not suitable for flowmeters measuring blood, liquid metal, iron ore slurry and open channel flow measurement, nor is it suitable for the verification of plug-in electromagnetic flow meters and electromagnetic water meters.
