Scope

This standard specifies the general method for the determination of phosphate by the extraction-phosphomolybdenum blue colorimetric method. This standard applies to the determination of trace orthophosphate in chemical reagents. The detection range of spectrophotometry or visual colorimetry is 0.2μg/mL～2μg/mL in butyl acetate (calculated as PO4).
