Scope

Users are responsible for taking appropriate safety and health measures and ensuring compliance with relevant national regulations. This part of GB/T 5687 stipulates the determination of silicon content by perchloric acid dehydration gravimetric method. This part is applicable to the determination of silicon content in ferrochrome, vacuum micro-carbon ferrochrome, ferrochrome nitride and silicon-chromium alloy. The determination range (mass fraction): 0.10% to 60.00%.
