- This standard specifies the pre-test preparation, instrument requirements, pre-test inspection, temperature test operating procedures and data quality requirements for downhole temperature testing of electronic downhole thermometers (direct-reading type, storage type). This standard is applicable to oil pipe operations, cable operations, and steel wire operations. It can conduct temperature tests and full-well temperature gradient tests in conventional oil production test wells, normal production oil and gas wells, test observation wells, and geothermal wells.
