- This standard specifies the temperature measurement methods, technical requirements, quality classification of temperature measurement cards, and organization of temperature measurement data for mechanical automatic recording downhole thermometers. This standard is applicable to operations using wires, and can be used to measure underground temperatures in blowout wells and water injection wells. The steel wire operation for temperature measurement of gas production wells can also be implemented as a reference.
