- This standard specifies the thermal efficiency and thermal engineering test methods of coal-fired, oil-fired, gas-fired and electric domestic boilers. This standard applies to steam boilers and hot water boilers with a pressure not greater than 0.7MPa (gauge pressure), as well as atmospheric pressure hot water boilers (hereinafter referred to as atmospheric pressure boilers) and vacuum phase change hot water boilers (hereinafter referred to as vacuum boilers). This standard does not apply to waste heat boilers and boilers that do not use water as a medium.
