JIS A 1440-2:2007 Acoustics -- Laboratory measurements of the reduction of transmitted impact sound by floor coverings on a solid standard floor -- Part 2: Method using standard heavy impact sources
This standard specifies a method for measuring in a laboratory the weight floor impact sound level reduction of a floor finishing structure (hereinafter referred to as a sample) applied directly onto a concrete slab in a building. Excludes specimens supported only at the perimeter of the floor slab, or specimens supported by walls and beams.
