JIS A 1440-1:2007 Acoustics -- Laboratory measurements of the reduction of transmitted impact sound by floor coverings on a solid standard floor -- Part 1: Method using standard light impact source
This standard specifies a method for measuring in a laboratory the amount of light floor impact sound level reduction of a floor finishing structure (hereinafter referred to as a sample) constructed directly on a concrete slab in a building. Exclude specimens supported only at the perimeter of the floor slab, or specimens supported by walls and beams.
