Scope

This standard specifies the determination method of silicon content in industrial circulating cooling water, boiler water and natural water. The spectrophotometric method in this standard is applicable to the determination of the soluble silicon content in industrial circulating cooling water of 0.1 mg/L to 5 mg/L; Determination of silicon content of 0 ~ 50ug / L; gravimetric method is suitable for the determination of silicon content > 5 mg / L in industrial circulating cooling water and natural water; hydrofluoric acid conversion spectrophotometry is suitable for natural water with a total silicon content of 0.5 mg / L Determination of L ~ 5 mg/L.
