Scope

This specification stipulates the base material, process material, thickness, hardness, appearance quality, bonding force and other requirements of the anti-ablation chrome plating (hereinafter referred to as chrome plating) layer of the inner bore of the medium and large-caliber smoothbore gun barrel, as well as quality assurance regulations and delivery preparations. and descriptions etc. This specification is applicable to the inspection and acceptance of the chrome-plated layer on the entire barrel of medium and large-caliber smoothbore gun barrels with a chamber pressure not greater than 600MPa, a muzzle velocity not greater than 2000m/s, a caliber not less than 100mm and a length less than 50 times the caliber.
