- This standard specifies the method for monitoring the concentration of halogenated alkanes in the air of the workplace. This standard applies to halogenated alkanes (chloromethane, methylene chloride, chloroform, carbon tetrachloride, dichloroethane, trichloropropane, hexachloroethane, methyl bromide, methyl iodide, 1, 2-dichloropropane, dichlorodifluoromethane) concentration determination.
