Scope

This standard specifies the separation and determination of ethylene dichloride in the air of workshops by polyethylene glycol 20M column gas chromatography. This standard applies to the determination of the concentration of 1,1-dichloroethane and 1,2-dichloroethane in the air of polyvinyl chloride and ethylene oxide production workshops and plastic product processing workshops where dichloroethane is used as a solvent.
