This standard specifies the method for measuring the water contact angle, which is an index that affects the self-cleaning performance of flat photocatalyst materials. However, this does not apply to materials with permeability that prevents water from penetrating into them, materials with irregularities that hide water droplets, and visible light-responsive photocatalysts.
