Scope

This standard specifies the conditioning and testing methods for all plastics and all types of specimens thereof under constant atmospheric conditions corresponding to the average atmospheric conditions in the test room. However, it does not apply to special tests or materials, or to special atmospheres that reproduce special weather environments.
