Scope
This part specifies the allowable deviation of the chemical composition of iron and ferroalloy press processed products (plate, strip, foil, tube, rod, wire, forging billet and profile). This part applies to the retest analysis of the chemical composition of iron and ferroalloy pressure processed products. This section does not apply to the analysis of the products delivered by the manufacturer. This part does not apply to the retest analysis of changes in the content of impurity elements (such as hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen) caused by the reprocessing of the product by the purchaser.
