- Scope
- This standard specifies a non-destructive quantitative comprehensive analysis method for the components of precious metal (gold, silver, platinum, palladium) jewelry using density method as the main method and X-ray fluorescence analysis as the supplement. This standard is applicable to the determination of precious metal jewelry and its products with a main component content of not less than 750‰. This standard is not applicable to the determination of completely sealed hollow, non-solid solution and inlaid precious metal jewelry.
