Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of marine welded copper ring loose steel flanges (hereinafter referred to as flanges). This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of flanges for ship pipelines with a nominal pressure not greater than 2.5MPa and an operating temperature not higher than 250°C.
