- This standard specifies the technical conditions for carbon structural steel. This standard is applicable to general structural steel and hot-rolled steel plate, steel strip, section steel and bar steel for engineering use. This product can be used for welding, riveting and bolting components, and is generally used in the state of supply. The chemical composition specified in this standard is applicable to steel ingots (including continuous casting slabs), steel slabs and their products.
