Scope
This standard specifies the classification method for ultrasonic flaw detection and quality assessment using the oblique probe contact method for detecting grid steel structures and their circular pipe intersecting node welded joints and steel pipe butt welds, that is, pipe nodes. It also stipulates that building steel structures include steel roof trusses, lattice column (beam) steel components, steel frames, crane beams, welded H-shaped steel, box-shaped steel frame columns, beams, welded composite components and steel in trusses or frame beams.
