Scope

This standard specifies a method for the determination of trace amounts of sulfur in couplers by molecular absorption spectrophotometry. This standard is applicable to the determination of trace amounts of sulfur in couplers that can be reduced by potassium borohydride. The detection range is 14 mg/L ~ 200 mg/L (calculated as S).
