- This part of YD/T 1588 specifies the measurement methods, measurement systems, measurement procedures and results of optical cable link attenuation in projects. This section is applicable to the measurement of fixed joint loss in silica-based single-mode optical fiber and multi-mode optical fiber cable links. The fixed connector loss measurement and non-fixed connector loss measurement of other optical fibers can also be used as a reference.
