Scope

This part of YD/T 1588 specifies the measurement methods, measurement systems, measurement procedures and results of optical cable link attenuation in projects. This section is applicable to optical cable link attenuation measurements of silica-based single-mode optical fibers and multi-mode optical fibers. Optical cable link attenuation measurements of other optical fibers can also be used as a reference.
