Scope

This part of GB/T 20674 specifies the terms and definitions, basic concepts, main performance requirements, power supply requirements, test methods, auxiliary devices, inspection rules and signs of hot-melt butt joint equipment for polyethylene (PE) piping systems heated by electric heating plates . This Part applies to mechanical transmission and pressure transmission hot-melt butt joint equipment for butt joints of polyethylene (PE) piping systems.
