Scope: This standard specifies the preparation method for the hot-melt butt joint assembly of polyethylene pipes and pipes or pipes and pipe fittings. This standard specifies welding parameters, such as ambient temperature, joint geometry and fusion parameters, etc., taking into account the use restrictions specified in the relevant product dimensions and the type of pipe material used. The difference in welding environment will affect the connection performance of the component under test. According to the manufacturer's instructions and/or relevant standards, the welding process and parameters of the prepared components can be adjusted appropriately.
