- Scope
- This standard specifies the supplementary technical requirements common to low-voltage electrical appliances in plateau environments, including: definitions, relevant information of electrical appliances, structure and performance requirements, characteristics, test methods, etc. This standard applies to low-voltage electrical appliances installed at altitudes above 2000m to 5000m, which are used in circuits with continuous rated voltage AC not exceeding 1000V or DC not exceeding 1500V. This standard does not apply to low-voltage complete switchgear and control equipment specified in GB 7251.
