- This standard specifies the corresponding climatic and environmental conditions at different altitudes encountered in the design, production, installation and use of electrical products. This standard applies to electrical products designed, manufactured, installed and used at an altitude of 5km or below. Electrical products in transportation and storage can also be used as a reference. This standard provides a basis for formulating the severity level of environmental conditions for relevant product standards.
