Scope

This standard specifies the use of the breakdown potential method to determine the insulation properties of anodic oxide films on aluminum and aluminum alloys. This standard is applicable to the anodic oxide film whose process specification is formulated for the purpose of insulation performance and the principle of breakdown potential.
