Scope

This standard specifies the model and basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of refrigerant stop valves (hereinafter referred to as "valve") for air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. This standard is applicable to valves using R22, R134a, R407c, and R410a as refrigerants. Valves using other media as refrigerants may be adopted as a reference.
