- This standard applies to vacuum cleaners used in household and similar conditions. The purpose of this standard is to specify the basic performance characteristics of vacuum cleaners of interest to users and to describe the methods for measuring these characteristics. For safety requirements, see GB 4706.1-2005 and GB 4706.7 standards. For EMI requirements, see CISPR 14-1 (see references).
