Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, and contract content of nickel foam used in batteries. This standard applies to nickel foam used in alkaline batteries such as cadmium nickel, zinc nickel, and metal hydride nickel.
