Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, packaging, transportation and storage of bone meal and meat and bone meal for feed. This standard is applicable to bone meal for feed made from animal bone after high-pressure steam sterilization or degumming treatment, and meat and bone meal for feed made from waste animal tissue and bone after cooking, degreasing, drying and crushing.
